The building
A public building on Torowa Street in Opole. A large flat roof area with parapets along the entire perimeter, which after completion received photovoltaic panels and an air-handling unit with its installations.
Scope of work
- thermal insulation layer across the entire roof area,
- synthetic membrane covering,
- parapet flashings and roof edge finishing,
- preparing the roof surface for rooftop equipment.
Process
We documented the works from laying the thermal insulation through to handover. Several crews worked on the roof at the same time, and materials were stored so as not to load the structure at single points.
Result
A watertight, uniform, light-coloured covering, ready for the photovoltaic installation and HVAC equipment. Warranty on the covering of up to 15 years, depending on the system used.
